Dr. Praveen C R (MBBS; MS General Surgery; DMAS; FALS; FACRSI; Diploma in Functional Medicine, FMU, USA; Member, Institute for Functional Medicine, USA; FMCP-M™ in progress, IFM, USA) is a Senior Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon maintaining a full surgical practice alongside his role at Prajeeva. His surgical credentials reflect a depth of training across minimal access surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery developed over two decades of consultant practice. His clinical foundation is rooted in acute intervention, diagnosis under uncertainty, and evidence-based surgical decision-making. However, a transient ischaemic attack (TIA) forced a critical realisation: the medicine that made him a skilled surgeon — reactive, acute-care focused — had done nothing to prevent his own metabolic and cardiovascular decline. This awakening transformed his trajectory. Alongside his surgical career he pursued internationally recognised Functional Medicine certification and is a Member of the Institute for Functional Medicine — the leading US-based functional medicine body.
This dual identity — active tertiary-care surgical consultant and physician-leader of a longevity centre — reflects the integrated clinical identity at the heart of Prajeeva’s approach. As Medical Director and clinical lead for the Live Longer pillar, he holds overall responsibility for clinical standards, protocol design, patient safety and the integration of advanced therapeutic technologies.
Dr. Vishwanath B R (MBBS; MRCPsych; CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, UK; LLM; PGDip Clinical Neurology, UCL; DipIBLM in progress) is a Consultant Forensic Neuropsychiatrist who spent over two decades in the United Kingdom across both the NHS and the independent healthcare sector. For over eight years he has served as Medical Lead/Director of a private healthcare group in the UK, with executive responsibility for clinical governance, service development, training and multi-site operations. Alongside his clinical and executive career he has practised at the intersection of psychiatry, neurology and medical law, and has published and presented at national and international conferences on traumatic brain injury and forensic neuropsychiatry. He is a long-standing personal practitioner of some of the principles that underpin lifestyle medicine — nutrition, movement and stress regulation. So when the conversation with Dr. Praveen turned to building a physician-led longevity centre in Bengaluru, the partnership felt entirely natural.
As Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Vishwanath brings the depth of his international clinical and executive leadership experience to lead Prajeeva’s overall strategic direction, clinical governance and organisational management. He is the architect of the Think Sharper pillar — cognitive longevity, brain health, sleep and preventive neuropsychiatric care.
Ms. Jeevitha Maran (BSc, Physician Associate, Functional Medicine Coach; Clinical Nutritionist; Functional Medicine Certification, VitaOne, 2025; MSc in Clinical Nutrition in progress) has been part of Prajeeva’s core founding team from inception, working alongside the founders to shape Prajeeva’s integrated model and translate it into a fully operational clinical environment. With hands-on surgical and clinical experience underpinning her credentials, she brings both clinical depth and operational precision to everything Prajeeva delivers.
At Prajeeva, Jeevitha supports the continuity of every patient programme — managing diagnostic assessments, therapeutic coordination, patient data interpretation, and the integration of nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Her role is central to Prajeeva’s core promise: that preventive healthcare be measurable, physician-led, and grounded in objective outcomes.
“Two physicians who studied medicine together and then took different paths — between India and the United Kingdom, between surgical practice and healthcare leadership, between functional medicine and forensic neuropsychiatry — only to reconverge twenty-five years later on the same conclusion: India needed a physician-led centre where longevity medicine, functional medicine, precision medicine and advanced bio-optimisation could be delivered together, to international standards. Building it needed a founding member who could match the depth of their ambition. That is the team that founded Prajeeva.”

How We Build the Team :
Every Clinical Hire Is Assessed For Qualifications And Patient-First Orientation. We Hire Selectively Rather Than Quickly.
All Clinical Staff Operate Under The Direct Supervision Of The Medical Director And Within Documented Clinical Protocols.
Senior Consulting Physicians Are Recruited Based On Specialty Fit With Prajeeva’s Three Pillars — Longevity, Cognitive, And Recovery Medicine.
Continuing Professional Development Is Built Into Staff Expectations.
Prajeeva is building a small group of senior scientific and clinical advisors to support the centre’s evidence-based development. Named advisors will be added to this page as appointments are confirmed.
Our advisory framework focuses on three areas: functional and longevity medicine research and protocol development, cognitive longevity and neuropsychiatric expertise, and clinical governance and outcomes measurement. We are deliberate about whom we approach and selective about whom we appoint.
Prajeeva is located in Whitefield, Bengaluru — a 3,500 sq ft purpose-designed clinical facility on the fourth floor of Garden of Eden, Pattandur Agrahara.
