Purpose and Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out the terms applicable to bookings, appointments, consultations, diagnostic services, therapies, preventive healthcare programmes, wellness services, packages and other paid services provided or facilitated by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited, operating under the brand name Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
Healthcare appointments require reserved clinical time, professional availability, treatment rooms, equipment, consumables, administrative preparation and, in some cases, advance coordination with laboratories or independent service providers. For this reason, payments made towards confirmed Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited bookings are generally non-refundable, subject to the limited exceptions stated in this Policy and any mandatory rights available under applicable Indian law.
This Policy forms part of Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited's Terms & Conditions and applies unless different written terms are expressly provided for a particular programme or service.
General No-Refund Principle
Once an appointment, consultation, diagnostic service, therapy, programme, package or other service has been booked and payment has been received, the amount paid is ordinarily non-refundable.
This applies because Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may reserve clinical time, block appointment capacity, allocate healthcare personnel, prepare facilities, schedule equipment, procure or allocate consumables, initiate diagnostic arrangements or incur administrative and third-party costs in reliance on the booking.
A change of mind, change in personal schedule, failure to attend, travel difficulty, work commitment or other circumstance originating with the user does not ordinarily create an entitlement to a refund.
Nothing in this Policy excludes a refund, reimbursement or other remedy where it is mandatory under applicable Indian law. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 permits scrutiny of unfair contractual terms and protects consumers against unfair trade practices.
Appointment Booking Fees
Any amount paid to reserve an appointment or consultation slot is treated as consideration towards reserving that specific healthcare capacity.
Once the appointment has been confirmed:
- The booking amount is non-refundable.
- Failure to use the reserved appointment does not automatically create a credit.
- A user cannot transfer the booking to another person without Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited's prior approval.
- A user cannot convert the booking amount into cash or demand repayment merely because the appointment is no longer convenient.
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited permits rescheduling, the original payment may be adjusted towards the rescheduled appointment at Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited's discretion and subject to availability.
Failure to Attend a Scheduled Appointment
A user who does not attend a confirmed appointment without completing an approved cancellation or rescheduling process will be treated as a no-show.
For a no-show:
- No refund will be issued.
- The appointment fee will be treated as utilised.
- Any reserved consultation or therapy slot will expire.
- A new appointment may require a new booking and payment.
- Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited is not required to provide an alternative appointment without additional charge.
The same rule applies where the user forgets the appointment, misunderstands the date or time, does not check appointment communications, or otherwise fails to attend for reasons within the user's control.
Late Arrival
Users are responsible for reaching the Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited facility or joining an applicable scheduled service at the confirmed time.
If a user arrives late, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may, depending on clinical and operational circumstances:
- Provide the service during the remaining available appointment time.
- Modify the appointment to what can reasonably be completed.
- Reschedule the service where possible.
- Treat the appointment as missed where the delay prevents safe or meaningful delivery of the service.
No refund will be issued because a user arrives late.
If the remaining appointment time is insufficient for the intended consultation, diagnostic procedure or therapy, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may require a new appointment and additional payment.
Excessive Delay by the User
Where a user arrives sufficiently late that the appointment would interfere with another patient's confirmed booking or compromise appropriate clinical delivery, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may decline to proceed.
The amount paid will remain non-refundable because the reserved time and resources were made available for the original appointment.
Any rescheduling offered in such circumstances is a service accommodation and not an automatic contractual entitlement.
Same-Day Cancellation
A cancellation made on the scheduled date is treated as a late cancellation.
Amounts paid for a same-day cancelled appointment are non-refundable.
This applies whether the cancellation results from:
- Personal commitments.
- Work obligations.
- Traffic.
- Travel delays.
- Forgetting the appointment.
- Changes in plans.
- Lack of transportation.
- Failure to arrange childcare.
- Other personal circumstances.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may consider rescheduling in individual circumstances, but any such arrangement is discretionary and does not create a general entitlement to a refund or free replacement appointment.
Advance Cancellation
Providing advance notice of cancellation does not automatically create a right to a cash refund.
Where sufficient advance notice is provided, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may, depending on the service and availability:
- Permit one rescheduling.
- Transfer an eligible amount towards another suitable Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited service.
- Issue a service credit with a defined validity period.
Any such accommodation must be expressly confirmed by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
Unless expressly approved otherwise, the original amount remains non-refundable.
Rescheduling Requests
Rescheduling is subject to:
- Advance notice.
- Appointment availability.
- Practitioner availability.
- Equipment availability.
- Clinical considerations.
- Service-specific requirements.
- Third-party provider arrangements.
A rescheduling request is not confirmed until Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited provides confirmation of the new appointment.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may restrict repeated rescheduling. Where a user repeatedly changes appointments, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may require a fresh booking and payment.
Failure to Attend a Rescheduled Appointment
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited has permitted a booking to be rescheduled and the user fails to attend the revised appointment, the amount paid will be treated as fully utilised.
No further rescheduling, refund or credit is required.
Any future appointment may require a new booking and payment.
Consultation Fees
Consultation fees are non-refundable once:
- The consultation has commenced.
- The healthcare professional has allocated and used the appointment time.
- Clinical history has been reviewed as part of the consultation.
- A medical or wellness assessment has been undertaken.
- Recommendations have been discussed.
- A personalised programme or clinical plan has begun to be prepared.
A user is not entitled to a refund merely because the consultation did not produce the outcome, recommendation, diagnosis, prescription or treatment preference the user expected.
Professional clinical judgement cannot be conditioned on the user receiving a preferred recommendation.
Clinical Unsuitability Identified During Consultation
A consultation may determine that a requested therapy, test or programme is unsuitable for the individual.
The consultation fee remains non-refundable because the professional assessment itself constitutes the service provided.
Where a separate therapy or procedure has been prepaid but cannot safely proceed following clinical assessment, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited will determine whether the amount may be applied to an alternative service, retained against costs already incurred, or refunded where legally or contractually appropriate.
Diagnostic Tests
Payments for diagnostic testing are generally non-refundable once any part of the diagnostic process has begun.
This includes circumstances where:
- A test has been ordered.
- Laboratory processing has been initiated.
- A testing kit has been allocated or dispatched.
- A third-party provider has been instructed.
- A specimen has been collected.
- A specimen has been dispatched.
- Laboratory charges have been incurred.
- Testing has commenced.
- A report has been generated.
Once such costs or processes have commenced, cancellation by the user does not create an entitlement to a refund.
Diagnostic Appointment No-Show
Where a user has booked diagnostic testing but fails to attend the scheduled collection or assessment:
- The booking fee is non-refundable.
- Charges already committed to third-party providers may remain payable.
- Any rescheduled collection may involve an additional charge.
- Special-order or personalised testing kits may remain fully chargeable.
Sample Collection Completed
Once a biological specimen has been collected, fees for the corresponding diagnostic service are non-refundable.
This applies even where the user later:
- Changes their mind.
- No longer wishes to receive the report.
- Decides not to continue with the programme.
- Obtains similar testing elsewhere.
- Chooses not to discuss the results with Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
The diagnostic process and associated professional or laboratory resources have already been committed.
Sample Recollection
A sample may occasionally need to be recollected because of technical, biological or pre-analytical circumstances.
Where recollection is required because of a laboratory, collection or processing issue not caused by the user, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited or the relevant provider may arrange recollection without requiring payment for the same failed component, where appropriate.
Where recollection is required because the user failed to follow preparation instructions, provided unsuitable information, missed the required collection window or otherwise caused the sample to become unsuitable, additional charges may apply.
No cash refund is created merely because recollection becomes necessary.
Delayed Diagnostic Reports
An estimated diagnostic reporting period is not a guarantee unless expressly stated otherwise.
A delay in a laboratory or diagnostic report does not ordinarily entitle the user to a refund where the service continues to be processed.
Delays may occur because of quality control, repeat testing, technical validation, referral testing, specimen issues, logistics or other legitimate diagnostic circumstances.
Where a test cannot ultimately be completed, the matter will be assessed according to the circumstances and any costs already incurred.
Therapies and Treatment Sessions
Fees for therapy sessions are non-refundable once:
- The session begins.
- Treatment equipment has been prepared specifically for the appointment.
- Treatment-specific consumables have been opened or allocated.
- Medication, infusion material or another personalised clinical item has been prepared.
- Clinical resources have been committed in a manner that cannot reasonably be reused.
This principle may apply to physician-supervised therapies and other services offered within Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited's programme structure.
Therapy No-Show
If a user fails to attend a confirmed therapy appointment:
- No refund will be provided.
- The booked session may be deducted from the user's package.
- A replacement session is not guaranteed.
- A new session may require additional payment.
This applies because clinical personnel, facilities and equipment were reserved for the user.
Therapy Arrived Late
Where late arrival makes it unsafe or operationally impracticable to provide the full therapy, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may shorten, postpone or decline the session.
No refund will apply where the inability to complete the service results from the user's late arrival.
Clinical safety requirements take priority over completing a therapy merely because payment has already been made.
User Declines to Proceed After Preparation
If a user attends an appointment but decides not to proceed after Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited has completed material clinical or operational preparation, the amount paid may remain non-refundable.
This may include situations where:
- A physician assessment has been completed.
- Clinical staff have prepared the service.
- Consumables have been opened.
- Personalised materials have been prepared.
- Equipment has been reserved or configured.
- Third-party charges have been incurred.
Where no material cost has been incurred, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may consider a service credit at its discretion.
Medical Contraindication Arising Before Treatment
Users must inform Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited promptly if their health circumstances change before a booked therapy or procedure.
Where a new contraindication prevents safe delivery, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may reschedule, modify or cancel the relevant service.
A cash refund is not automatic. Depending on the service, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may provide an alternative service, future credit or another reasonable arrangement after considering costs already incurred.
Preventive Healthcare Programmes
Payments for preventive healthcare, longevity, wellness or personalised programmes are generally non-refundable once the programme has commenced.
A programme is considered commenced when any material component has begun, including:
- Initial consultation.
- Medical history review.
- Assessment.
- Diagnostic ordering.
- Programme design.
- Laboratory testing.
- Therapy scheduling.
- Clinical planning.
- Personalised recommendations.
- Allocation of programme resources.
A participant who voluntarily discontinues after commencement is not ordinarily entitled to a refund for the unused balance.
Programme Withdrawal
Where a participant decides to stop an ongoing programme for personal reasons, unused components do not automatically carry a cash value.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may determine whether any unused eligible component can be rescheduled or converted to another suitable service.
No refund is ordinarily payable for programme withdrawal arising from:
- Change of mind.
- Relocation.
- Work commitments.
- Travel.
- Lack of attendance.
- Failure to follow the programme.
- Preference to use another provider.
- Dissatisfaction because expected health outcomes were not achieved.
Healthcare outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
Partially Used Packages
Where a package contains multiple consultations, therapies, diagnostics or other services, commencement or use of any component may cause the package to become non-refundable.
Unused sessions within a partially utilised package do not automatically entitle the user to a proportional refund.
Package pricing may reflect bundled pricing, reserved capacity, programme design and administrative costs rather than the simple retail value of each component.
Expired Packages or Credits
Packages, credits or prepaid services may carry an expiry or validity period communicated at purchase.
Where a user does not use the services within the applicable period:
- The unused amount may expire.
- No cash refund is ordinarily payable.
- Extension is subject to Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited's approval.
- Medical or exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.
An extension granted once does not create an obligation to grant future extensions.
Executive and Corporate Wellness Programmes
Corporate, institutional and executive programme payments may be governed by a separate written agreement.
Where an employer or organisation has booked a programme for participants, participant non-attendance does not automatically entitle the organisation or individual participant to a refund.
Charges relating to reserved capacity, assessments, administrative work, diagnostics or third-party services may remain payable notwithstanding individual non-participation.
Where a corporate agreement contains specific cancellation provisions, those provisions will apply subject to mandatory law.
Group Bookings
Where multiple appointments or services are booked together, cancellation by one participant does not necessarily result in a refund for that participant's allocated service.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may permit substitution of another eligible participant where clinically, operationally and legally appropriate.
Any substitution requires prior approval and may require new registration, consent and health information.
Products, Supplements and Personalised Items
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited supplies supplements, health products, diagnostic kits or other physical items, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the item and applicable legal requirements.
Items may be non-returnable where they are:
- Opened.
- Used.
- Personalised.
- Temperature-sensitive.
- Perishable.
- Specially procured.
- Medically or hygienically unsuitable for resale.
- Supplied as part of an already commenced programme.
Nothing in this section excludes mandatory remedies applicable to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise legally non-conforming products.
Digital Reports and Personalised Plans
Once a personalised report, assessment, programme recommendation or other customised digital deliverable has been substantially prepared or delivered, the relevant fee is non-refundable.
A user cannot obtain a refund solely because they disagree with a professional assessment or decide not to act upon the recommendations.
Clinical opinions remain subject to professional judgement and available information.
Booking Made for Another Person
Where a person pays for a service on behalf of another individual, the same cancellation and refund rules apply.
The payer does not automatically acquire rights to the recipient's confidential health information merely because the payer funded the service.
A refund, where exceptionally due, will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or according to the verified payment arrangement.
Incorrect Information Provided by the User
Where a service cannot proceed because the user supplied materially incorrect, incomplete or misleading information, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may treat the booking as non-refundable where clinical time, resources or third-party costs have already been committed.
This may include inaccurate information concerning:
- Identity.
- Age.
- Medical history.
- Medication.
- Allergies.
- Contraindications.
- Eligibility requirements.
- Test preparation.
This does not prevent Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited from making a reasonable accommodation where appropriate.
Failure to Follow Preparation Instructions
Certain diagnostics or therapies may require fasting, medication instructions, hydration, timing or other preparation.
Where the user fails to follow required instructions and the service cannot safely or reliably proceed:
- The booking fee is ordinarily non-refundable.
- Rescheduling may involve additional charges.
- Consumables or third-party costs already incurred remain chargeable.
Users are responsible for reviewing and following preparation instructions communicated before the appointment.
Refusal to Follow Clinical Safety Requirements
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may decline to provide a service where a user refuses to comply with reasonable clinical or safety instructions.
No refund is ordinarily due where the service cannot proceed because the user refuses required safety measures, screening, consent procedures or eligibility checks after resources have been reserved or costs incurred.
This provision does not authorise Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited to impose unreasonable or unrelated requirements.
Intoxication, Abusive Conduct or Unsafe Behaviour
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may refuse or discontinue a non-emergency service where the user:
- Appears intoxicated in a manner affecting safe treatment.
- Threatens staff or other users.
- Engages in abusive or unlawful conduct.
- Deliberately interferes with medical equipment.
- Creates a material safety risk.
Where the inability to provide the service results from such conduct, the amount paid may remain non-refundable.
Failure of Payment or Reversed Payment
A booking is not considered paid where payment fails, is reversed, charged back or is otherwise not received by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may cancel an unpaid booking without liability.
Where a user initiates an unjustified payment dispute or chargeback after receiving or reserving a service, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may provide relevant booking and transaction records to the payment provider and pursue amounts lawfully due.
Duplicate Payment
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited confirms that the same amount was unintentionally charged more than once for the same transaction, the verified duplicate amount may be refunded.
Processing time may depend on the payment method, bank or payment provider.
A duplicate payment refund does not affect the validity of the underlying booking.
Incorrect Amount Charged by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited confirms a genuine billing error resulting in an excess amount being collected, the excess amount will be corrected through an appropriate refund, adjustment or credit.
This provision does not apply where the user subsequently disputes a fee that was correctly disclosed and accepted.
Payment Gateway and Banking Charges
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited is not responsible for fees independently charged by a bank, card issuer, payment gateway or other payment service provider unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Where a refund is exceptionally approved, the amount returned may be subject to the treatment of external payment charges according to the payment provider's rules and applicable law.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited Cancels an Appointment
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited cannot provide a confirmed appointment because of circumstances within its operational responsibility, it will ordinarily first offer a reasonable alternative appointment or rescheduling option.
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited permanently cannot provide the paid service and no acceptable substitute or rescheduling arrangement is available, the affected unused amount will be assessed for refund.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited will not retain payment for a service that it definitively cannot provide where doing so would be inconsistent with contractual or statutory obligations.
Practitioner Unavailability
If the scheduled healthcare professional becomes unavailable, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may:
- Reschedule the appointment.
- Offer another appropriately qualified professional where suitable.
- Provide another reasonable service arrangement.
Practitioner unavailability does not automatically create a cash refund where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited can reasonably provide the booked service through an appropriate alternative.
Where the service cannot ultimately be supplied, applicable consumer and contractual rights will be respected.
Equipment Failure or Facility Disruption
Where treatment cannot proceed because of equipment failure, maintenance, infrastructure disruption or another Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited-side operational issue, the preferred remedy will ordinarily be rescheduling.
No refund is automatically due merely because an appointment must be postponed.
Where the relevant paid service cannot reasonably be provided within an appropriate period, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited will assess an alternative service, service credit or refund according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Force Majeure and Events Outside Reasonable Control
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may need to reschedule or suspend services because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, infrastructure failures, transport disruption, civil disturbance or similar events.
Where the service remains capable of being provided later, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may reschedule it rather than issue a refund.
Any financial adjustment will depend on the service, costs already incurred, the duration of the disruption and mandatory legal requirements.
Third-Party Provider Cancellation
Where an independent laboratory, diagnostic provider or other external healthcare provider cancels or changes a service, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may seek to:
- Arrange a replacement provider.
- Reschedule the service.
- Provide an equivalent available option.
- Apply the amount towards another suitable service.
Where the third-party service cannot ultimately be supplied, the amount attributable to the undelivered component will be assessed based on costs already incurred and applicable legal obligations.
Dissatisfaction With Clinical Outcome
A refund will not ordinarily be issued merely because:
- A health marker did not improve.
- Symptoms remained unchanged.
- A desired diagnosis was not made.
- A requested therapy was not recommended.
- The user did not receive a preferred prescription.
- A wellness goal was not achieved.
- A biological-age or performance measure did not change as expected.
Healthcare outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.
This does not limit any remedy available for proven deficiency in service, negligence or another legally actionable failure.
Second Opinion or Change of Healthcare Provider
A user's decision to obtain a second opinion or continue care with another healthcare provider does not create an entitlement to refund services already booked, commenced or delivered by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
Unused prepaid services will be treated according to the applicable package and programme provisions of this Policy.
Medical records or eligible information may be requested separately in accordance with applicable privacy and healthcare requirements.
Hospitalisation or Medical Emergency Affecting Attendance
Where a user cannot attend because of hospitalisation, a significant medical event or another documented exceptional health circumstance, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may review a reasonable rescheduling request.
The preferred remedy will ordinarily be rescheduling or service credit rather than a cash refund.
Any accommodation is subject to clinical practicality, service validity, costs already incurred and supporting information reasonably required by Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited.
Death or Permanent Inability to Use a Service
Where a prepaid service cannot be used because the intended recipient has died or has become permanently medically incapable of receiving it, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited will assess the unused portion individually.
Amounts attributable to services already delivered, committed third-party expenses, customised work, diagnostics already initiated or non-recoverable costs may be deducted.
Any remaining amount legally or contractually refundable will be addressed with the appropriately verified representative.
Refunds Required by Law
The no-refund provisions in this Policy do not override mandatory rights under Indian law.
The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 recognises consumer protections in relation to deficient services, unfair trade practices and unfair contractual terms.
Similarly, contractual provisions fixing consequences for breach remain subject to Indian contract law principles concerning reasonable compensation. Section 74 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 provides for reasonable compensation not exceeding the amount stipulated where a contract specifies an amount or penalty for breach.
Accordingly, nothing in this Policy should be interpreted as allowing Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited to retain an amount where retention would be unlawful.
Circumstances Where a Refund May Be Considered
Despite the general no-refund rule, a refund may be considered where:
- Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited received a verified duplicate payment.
- Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited collected an incorrect excess amount.
- Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited permanently cannot provide the paid service and no reasonable alternative is accepted or available.
- A service was charged but was never supplied because of a confirmed Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited-side error.
- A refund or other remedy is required by applicable Indian law.
- Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited expressly agrees in writing to an exceptional refund.
The fact that Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited grants an exception in one case does not create a general right to the same exception in another case.
Refund Request Procedure
Where a user believes that a refund falls within one of the limited eligible circumstances, the request should be submitted to:
enquiries@prajeeva.com
The request should include:
- Full name.
- Registered mobile number or email address.
- Appointment or booking details.
- Invoice or payment reference.
- Date and amount paid.
- Reason for the request.
- Supporting information where relevant.
Submission of a refund request does not mean that the refund has been approved.
Assessment of Refund Requests
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may review:
- The service booked.
- Whether the service commenced.
- Appointment attendance records.
- Clinical or operational preparation completed.
- Consumables used or allocated.
- Third-party charges incurred.
- Diagnostic processing status.
- Programme utilisation.
- Previous rescheduling.
- Applicable contractual terms.
- Mandatory consumer rights.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may request reasonable additional information before reaching a decision.
Refund Method
Where a refund is approved, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may return the amount through the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
Where the original method cannot be used, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may require verified bank or payment details.
Refund processing time may vary depending on the bank, card network, payment gateway or other financial service provider.
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited is not responsible for external processing delays after an approved refund has been released through the relevant payment system.
Service Credits
Where Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited offers a service credit instead of a refund, the credit may:
- Be limited to the named user.
- Have a specified validity period.
- Apply only to eligible services.
- Be non-transferable.
- Be non-convertible into cash.
- Require advance booking.
- Remain subject to clinical eligibility.
Specific credit conditions will be communicated where a credit is issued.
No Cash Value for Complimentary Services
Complimentary sessions, promotional services, bonus consultations or no-charge programme components have no cash refund value unless expressly stated otherwise.
If a package containing complimentary components is cancelled or adjusted, those components will not be assigned an artificial monetary value for refund calculation.
Promotional and Discounted Bookings
Services booked under promotional, bundled or discounted pricing remain subject to this Policy.
Where a partial adjustment is exceptionally approved, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may calculate utilised services at their applicable non-discounted or allocated programme value where this was clearly part of the original commercial arrangement.
A user cannot ordinarily claim the full proportional package discount after cancelling part of the package.
Taxes and Statutory Adjustments
Where an approved refund requires adjustment of taxes, invoices or credit notes, Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited will process the financial documentation in accordance with applicable Indian tax requirements.
The refundable amount may therefore reflect legally required tax treatment and amounts already lawfully recognised or adjusted.
Consumer Complaints
A user who disputes the handling of a cancellation or refund may contact Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited through its grievance process.
The National Consumer Helpline operates as a grievance redressal mechanism of the Department of Consumer Affairs. Nothing in this Policy prevents a consumer from approaching an appropriate consumer commission, statutory authority, court or other competent forum where legally available.
Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India.
Applicable principles include the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and other laws and regulations applicable to the particular healthcare service or transaction. The Consumer Protection Act protects consumer interests and provides remedies relating to unfair practices and unfair contractual terms, while Indian contract law governs contractual compensation and enforceability.
Mandatory statutory rights prevail over any inconsistent term in this Policy.
Changes to This Policy
Prajeeva Healthcare Private Limited may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy to reflect changes in services, appointment structures, programme arrangements, payment systems or applicable law.
The version applicable to a booking will be determined according to the terms communicated when the relevant service was booked, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
Material changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
